WorkCompCentral's EZComp EDEX Tutorial


Overview:
The State of California, Division of Workers' Compensation (DWC) Electronic Data Exchange (EDEX) system provides subscribers the ability to query the DWC database of all litigated workers' compensation cases, file, amend or withdraw liens electronically, and receive hearing notices or other case event information as events occur. WorkCompCentral is an authorized EDEX subscribers with the DWC and thus is a vendor of this product to members of the public. Our unique software and implemetation is called EZComp, and is available to subscribers of WorkCompCentral.

This tutorial has been created to help you to learn all the benefits (basic and advanced), ins-and-outs, and simplicity that WorkCompCentral's EZComp EDEX system offers.

Mandatory Completion Time:
The allotted time for completing this entire course is 3 weeks. Please monitor your time to complete the course and materials within this assigned timeframe.

Rene Thomas Folse, JD, Ph.D.
Rene Thomas Folse JD, Ph.D. is both an attorney at law and a licensed psychologist in California. He has practiced Workers Compensation since 1974 as the founding partner of the Miller & Folse defense firm. During that period he represented most major Calfornia insurance carriers and many self insured entities. He has lectured nationally on many topics including forensic psychology which is his area of special interest. He also advocates for special needs children.
